THE BEST CARE DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN TYPE

To be able to take care of your skin correctly, it is essential to know what type it is. And determining it is not always easy, since each skin is different and, moreover, it changes over time. However, the skin can be classified into five large groups. Find out what your skin type is.

TYPE 1: COMBINATION SKIN

Combination skin is so called because it is a combination of two types of skin: normal-dry and oily or with impurities. Combination skin has a shiny appearance and tends to develop small impurities, especially in the so-called T zone (forehead, nose and chin). In contrast, the skin on the cheek area is normal to dry . To stimulate the restoration of the natural water balance of your skin, always use a product specifically created for your skin type.

Characteristics of combination skin:

  • have a greasy shine;
  • they tend to develop impurities in the T zone;
  • drier cheeks.

TIPS FOR COMBINATION SKIN

  • Cleanse your skin thoroughly before applying facial care products.
  • Use warm water instead of very hot or very cold water.
  • Apply a moisturizer regularly (using a hazelnut-sized amount is sufficient).
  • Always use products for combination skin.

TYPE 2: DRY SKIN

Does your skin look rough and flaky? Dry skin lacks hydration and lipids (oily). As a consequence, it is less elastic, tighter and, on many occasions, it tends to itch. It is susceptible to external environmental factors and tends to react by being irritated. If you use creams for dry skin, you can restore its hydration and strengthen the skin’s natural protective barriers.

TYPE 6: MATURE SKIN

As we get older, many different processes take place in the skin that change its appearance, its structure and the activities it performs. This includes decreased cell activity, slower regeneration, decreased collagen production, or damage caused by UV radiation. Mature skin lacks hydration and elasticity . But with innovative care products you can reduce fine lines, wrinkles and age spots.
